triptych panel two: copper lady
I have started working on the copper lady. I have finished her outline and some basic color shading. She is begining to take form.
triptych panel one: blue lady
I have completed the blue lady piece of the triptych. The way the colors blues have blended in this painting are just wonderful. I am very pleased with the final result. I will post a picture of this panel in the very near future.
new triptych
I have started working on a new triptych of three nude ladies. Although they will be nude, you really will not be able to see any of the naughty bits. The first panel will be of a blue lady, the second panel will be of a copper lady, and the third panel will be of a red lady. One will face backwards and two will face forward. All three together will show female beauty.
Emotional response painting
I am currently working on a painting to answer a call for entries in a magazine. The requirements are that the painting must evoke an emotional response in the viewer. I am toying around with a couple of ideas. The first idea is to have a large painting of a the face of a lady experiencing true joy. My second idea is to have two silhouettes back to back on the painting showing two faces of emotion. I like the second idea a little better for this call for entries because I feel it will be evoke a stronger emotional response. I think that I will re-visit the first idea for another painting.
